Community Music Day - Liskeard School & Community College

The BSO are inviting musicians from across Cornwall to work with their Associate Musician, Patrick Bailey, along with a string quartet of BSO players for one day only, creating a brand new piece of music – from scratch – in just 3 hours.  Joining forces with Liskeard’s regular “Sounds Vital” project, musicians will form an ensemble of mixed instruments and work together to create rhythms, melodies and musical phrases to form a brand new composition, ready for a sharing to family and friends at 2.00 pm. The sharing will also include performances by the local Sounds Vital ensemble and the BSO string quartet.  Pre-booking required to attend the workshop.
