The Leche Trust
The Leche Trust is a registered, grant-making charity (225659) founded and endowed by the late Mr. Angus Acworth CBE.
The Leche Trustees offer grants in two areas: performing arts and conservation.
The Trustees support projects that promote excellence in professional performance in music, dance and theatre, with particular emphasis on new work and on the development of young professionals aged 18 or over. Trustees are sympathetic to projects that widen geographical access to the performing arts, for example through festivals and touring.
Trustees do not fund:
- capital developments at arts venues
- the purchase of equipment
- general education, outreach and audience development projects
- projects that have been completed.
Please read the detailed Funding Guidelines carefully before making an application.
The trustees meet three times a year to review applications, normally in February, May and October.
The deadlines for applications for the meetings in 2018 are:
Friday 15th December 2017 for the February meeting
Friday 20th April for the May meeting
Friday 17th August for the October meeting.
