The ASONE Music Education Hub is committed to supporting musical progression in all genres.  We work with partners to offer masterclasses and workshops in music production, DJing, recording and coaching for bands.

Strategic Development of Contemporary Music and Songwriting

We have now contracted a new Contemporary Music and Songwriting Lead to help us to diversify our musical offer and make it more relevant to more young people.

For more information, contact Ryan Jones -

Help with your songwriting!

To help young people to get started or take their songwriting to the next level, we have set up an online virtual songwriting club which meets on Thursday afternoons.  These sessions, for young people aged 12 -18 in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly, offer an opportunity to test out new ideas and to work with other young songwriters.  The sessions are fully funded by the the Hub so there is no cost for participants.

All participants must register to join the Songwriting Club by completing an online workshop application and consent form

We also offer Songwriting workshops during term time and school holidays.  Dates for future workshops to be confirmed and will be listed on our Workshops and Masterclasses page.  These workshops may be delivered online due to COVID-19 restrictions

Music Production

Kevrenna Records - The Hub's new online record label for young people!

Kevrenna (meaning to share in Cornish), isn't just for musicians, we are inviting young people from a range of creative disciplines to get involved!  So if you're a songwriter, poet, storyteller or want to be more involved on the technical side, then get in touch with us!

There are challenges to put your creative talents to the test, plus webinars from guest speakers, as well as lots of guidance on how to develop your skills.

Young Music Studio Network

There are many music studios across Cornwall.  We are currently building a network of studios who are keen to work with young artists.  More information to follow!

She Producer

Women are typically under represented in the music production sector, therefore She Producer has been set up as a community to encourage more female artists to make and record their own music.
