Bristol Beacon Inclusive Practitioner Certificate in Music Education - Funded Places
The Cornwall Music Education Hub is inviting local practitioners to apply for two CMEH funded places on the Bristol Beacon Inclusive Practitioner Certificate in Music Education course which begins in September. CMEH will pay the course fee only, not practitioner time or costs (the majority of the course will be delivered online with the induction being in Bristol). The successful applicants must commit to playing an active role in developing musical inclusion in Cornwall and sharing best practice with colleagues.

Please note that there is a very tight turnaround on applications which need to be received by us by Wednesday 30th June so that we can confirm with Bristol Beacon.

Easter Songwriting and Music Production Workshop
Writing and recording new musical works has never been so simple!Join us in the Easter Holidays for a short course aimed at 12-18 year old intermediate and advanced songwriters and producers. These 1hour sessions for 3 days in Week 1 and 3 days in week 2 of the holidays will explore your skills as a lyricist and musical arranger with the technological know how of a producer and studio engineer to produce recorded and mixed musical works for possible release into the musical world.Spend three sessions preparing lyrical and harmonic ideas with songwriting tutor Ryan Jones and then take your ideas over to work with producer and engineer Si Gordon to develop them into finished recordings.The sessions are remote and use Zoom as the online secure classrooms alongside the FREE online DAW software, Bandlab.Days & Times:Session 1 - Monday 5th April (4pm - 5pm)Session 2 - Tuesday 6th April (4pm - 5pm)Session 3 - Wednesday 7th April (4pm - 5pm)Session 4 - Monday 12th April (4pm - 5pm)Session 5 - Tuesday 13th April (4pm - 5pm)Session 6 - Wednesday 14th April (4pm - 5pm)
