Songfest - A celebration of singing!
Since 2016, the Hub has worked with thousands of children on its countywide vocal project, Songfest. Each year has a different theme and involves schools working together to form massed choirs in venues across the county.
In 2020 we will be working with 92 different schools from around the county and holding performances from Penzance to Plymouth. Each night will feature a different massed choir, made up of singers from local schools. The massed choirs will perform the same songs in the second half of each show. In addition, the first half of each show will feature performances by local choirs as well as secondary and college students. This will be different on each night.
Ticket buying arrangements are different for each venue. Please note that tickets will only be available to buy on the door if there are any still available but all concerts sold out in advance last year!
All performing students will be given a Songfest T shirt which they will wear for the concert and is then theirs to keep. Students should wear dark trousers/skirts/shoes with their T-Shirt.
